The Avon Lady
Watching the TV last night one of the new Avon Adds came on reminding me of 50 + years ago when my mum was an Avon Lady , back in those days many if not most mothers did not work so selling Avon was an option that allowed them to earn a little extra money, it is interesting to see Avon pushing the format for being an Avon Lady 50 years later, not sure how well it will work in the modern Internet world but wish it well

I'm an Avon lady and I feel proud to do something that women have been doing for decades, allowing them a bit of independance when they probably wouldn't of had much otherwise. Hopefully it'll carry on going for decades to come.
