My Price Basket for Inflation is more than 25% measured for the ordinary family
I took some time this week to update my grocery basket prices and also did a comparison from 2008 to current, below is an image of my findings.
My 20 basic items included bread, milk, soda, potatoes, eggs etc. some of the things we nearly all buy every week,
Item prices are dependent on seasons, special offers etc. etc. but what I found from my non scientific findings is that inflation is much higher for these basic things than any other statistics show
On a $54.00 shopping basket of everyday items in the last 2 1/2 years they have increased by more than $16.00 to me that means my basket of basic commodities to live has increased by more than 25%
